My background
Welcome to my site on building and painting scale models.
I have building models off and on since then. Most were lost or destroyed over the years. I decided to get back into it and document my journey along.
You will see AI generated images as placeholders while I build and paint models to replace them over time.
How I got started
Built my first model back in the 1970s where my parents bought me my first kits at the local Safeway supermarket. I remember one of them being the Revell Famous Air Battle Scenes, The Battle of Britain which contained both a Spitfire and Messerschmidt planes, a couple of figures and a cardboard diorama.
my preferred scale model subjects
My initial plan is to build 1/24 scale cars and civilian figures. 1/48 WWII propeller planes and military vehicles. Star Wars ships and figures along with 1/16 military figures.
